Character or game questions – Jagex Support

After upgrading to a Jagex account, you must use the Jagex Launcher to log in, and your previous login credentials will no longer work for accessing any imported RuneScape characters. Instead, you must use your new Jagex account login details to log in. From November 7th 2023, only Jagex accounts can be accessed via the Jagex Launcher.

Settings

Once you've upgraded your character, your settings will either be at the Jagex account level or the character level depending on what you'd like to do.
